The Children's Council is committed to the spiritual growth of children. Members should understand and love children. It is preferable that members have some training in children's work and a knowledge of children's programming. The Council helps to establish policies for the administration of Mother's Day Out, Pre-School, Children's Camps, and UpStreet Sunday School. The Council provides support and guidance to the directors of the programs with regard to the hiring of staff, setting rates, submitting a budget, and maintaining a Christian environment for the programs.
